QNU Students Made Great Achievements in the National College PE Basic Skills Competition

From July 5th to 11th, the NationalCollegeStudentBasic Skills Competition of Physical Education major,  sponsored by the Ministry of Education of China was held in Tianjin University of Sport. QNU won the second prizes in three team competitions including basic skills, basic theoretical knowledge & teaching skills, and sports skills, as well as top six of three individual events of Micro Lecture, Gymnastics and Martial Arts. This is also the best-ever score of Fujian teams in this event.

This competition attracted 192 undergraduates of Physical Education major from 24 universities across China, including Beijing Sport University and Northeast Normal University. As the only team from Fujian Province, the 8 athletes from School of Physical Education participated in 7 major and 13 minor events, winning high praise from referees and sister colleges by demonstrating good athletic performances and athletic spirit.
