On March 3, Education Department the of Fujian Province announced the list of 2020 Provincial Elementary Education Teaching Achievement Award-winning projects. A project entitled “15 Years’ Exploration and Practice of the ‘533’Inheritance Mode of Excellent Traditional Culture in Southern Fujian” jointly applied by QNU and its affiliated primary school won the top prize of Fujian Elementary Education Teaching Achievement Award. Another project entitled “14 Years’ Exploration and Practice of the ‘One Axis, Four Wings and Three Drives’ Joint Teaching and Research Collaborative Development Model of Urban and Rural Schools” jointly applied with Jinjiang Experimental Primary School won the second prize.
The Elementary Education Teaching Achievement Award is a review and display of elementary education in colleges and universitiesin terms of their talent training and the ability to serve the local development. These awards demonstrates the QNU's long-term adherence to the focus of talent training, deepening cooperation with local elementary education and serving of local needs. Moreover, it highlights the reform achievements in talent cultivation, major construction, curriculum construction and teaching management.
